Casio came to recognition in 1957 when they created the world's first all-electronic compact calculator. Casio's advances in digital technology led to many important discoveries and to new product categories including musical instruments.

Since that time, Casio has continued as a world leader in technology through research and development. Today Casio produce some of the worlds most advanced and innovative keyboards and digital pianos for all levels of players.

Our history, our people and our infrastructure make Monaco the number one choice as a distributor of international brands in consumer electronics and high technology products. Monaco was established in 1977 as the sole distributor of the Casio and Pioneer product lines. This fledgling business quickly grew into a major supplier to the New Zealand electronics market firmly establishing Monaco as a successful broad-based distributor.

Monaco is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shriro Australia, which is a part of the 100 year old privately owned Shriro Group, distributors of electronics, construction equipment, industrial equipment and lighting systems in the Asia and Pacific regions.

Monaco’s senior management team has many years of experience with the company. This base is equally supported by senior product and marketing staff and together with our established customer relationships, has given Monaco the ability to confidently introduce new brands and products into our portfolio while continuing to expand and develop our existing brands.
