TOKYO, January 18, 2024 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it will exhibit at the 2024 NAMM Show, a musical instrument trade show held in Anaheim, California, in the United States, together with Casio America, Inc., a Casio Group subsidiary, from January 25 through 28.
The NAMM Show, dating back to 1901, is one of the world's largest musical instrument trade shows, attracting manufacturers globally to announce new products and present displays. The 2023 NAMM Show saw around 47,000 attendees.
This year, the Casio booth will showcase displays of its flagship Privia, CELVIANO, and Casiotone models, along with talks and live performances by special guests.
Notably, Privia celebrates its 20th anniversary, having harmonized with people's lifestyles and surpassed 3-million-unit shipments in September 2023. Special guests, including pianist Sumino Hayato, Casio's electronic musical instrument ambassador, will share how Privia aligns with their music-oriented lifestyles, complemented by live performances.
New CELVIANO digital piano models, unveiled for the first time in about four years, demonstrate Casio's commitment to delivering unique piano experiences.
The Casiotone keyboard exhibit will feature displays of keyboards like the CT-S1000V, capable of playing singing voices, and the CT-S1, a portable keyboard with minimalist design, seamlessly fitting into daily life. Visitors can explore these keyboards, each with distinctive features, to discover new ways of enjoying music.
Additionally, Casio will showcase the Dimension Tripper, allowing wireless operation of commercially available guitar effects pedals, * offering a unique way to modify the sound by attaching a guitar strap and expanding and contracting the spring.* Can operate only guitar effectors equipped with an external control terminal
